He will now drop the loot he was intended to (lvl 9 stuff maybe?).
More importantly, they have stated it will now require a group effort to kill him, and not a single kiter.
The new loot has sparked my curiousity, but I honestly believe that the devs are too stupid to make this thing fully kite proof.
With some toys, I can have about 8.15k range, and should be able to get my impulse speed in the 600+ range. Grouped with some drag racing JE's, we could probably hit 800-1000.
So basically, unless they either: a) give him 700+ impulse b) extend his firing range from 5k-8k or c) extend his summon range from 6.7-6.8ish to 8k this guy will still be kiteable.
I'm assuming this will go into effect next patch, and if so, you bet your ass Static will be the first guild to take him down.
Now, failing this, I also believe an elite static strike force with a couple TTs recharging the hell out of the front line could also make short waste of him.
The strategy we used on the Warder the other day was quite effective, and I can see something like that working on this guy.
Yes, he hits harder, but someone (strav? ) mashing shield recharge the whole time should be able to keep the front line alive.
Any input is appreciated, though I do realize this is just speculation at this point.
Regardless, the loot he drops now is decent, so if his loot table is actually "fixed" one must assume he'll be dropping even better stuff...

My CW faction is dropping, my sabine faction is dropping, my earthcorps faction is still maxed (there is no where to farm these things anywhere period), and my RD faction is still as red as ever...
Help?
