Can anyone give a breakdown of soldier path skills and their opinion of each? I am thinking of going Grenadier. I was thinking of spec'ing launcher and propellent guns, any opinions?

Currently the skills I like on the soldier path are the obvious Fire arms (pump 5).
I LOVE RAGE 5.
It is by far the best skill, though soon to be nerfed. Even then, it still could hold merit to have. It's all about the damage!

Force blast (or what ever the soldier tier dd is ) is nice and offers a different damage type to lightning, but only offers one target DD ( lighning arcs at higher pumps) but usually results in a 5sec or so knockdown and throw back. High pumps arn't advised and 1 pump is enough (imho).

Graviton armor is only need for 1 pump. Any more is a waste currently.

Launchers, i liked alot and had good fun with. I went 5 pumps but 3 pumps would be enough for sustained fun. The single shot rpg's are great for pulling and a incendiary grenade lancher (8shot) rocks most mobs. Remember all Launchers are AOE weapons. It is easy to get extra mobs with a pull shot.

Propellants are good for the upclose and personal fights but thats about all. They will do better damage than the 8 shot launchers in the right hands but can be harder to set up the cone.

I'd advise keeping some in Firearms for one target shots where the AOE could be harmful or interfearing. Hope it helps.
