I want to travel to Europe for sightseeing and have managed to get a Schengen Visa. Can I visit UK on this visa?

No you cannot visit The UK on a Schengen Visa as it is not one of the 15 Schengen member countries. Details of the Schengen Visa and the countries you can visit on a Schengen visa can be found at:
