for a start sorry for the spelling misstakes and punctuial errors

anyway i recently converted from WoW and i am loving it

i dont understand the crafting abillitys and all those items you pick up that you need specilist to make them with. im going to be a ranger i decided that before i even started the char and i am wondering if anyone can give a good describtion on what the kind of stuff i need to craft or just sell my banks are full of rubbish crafting patturns witch i dont know what to do with ( i know how to craft) im just not sure witch direction i should take with crafting abilitys....

anyon know a fairly good and straightforward sight that can explaine this or can you put it into words for me so i can get a idea of what i need?

Specialist abilities and items are very useful things, only available to Specialists. The most useful of these are Tools, which can be used to heal, repair armor depletion mid-battle, even to revive fallen friends. There's also the tissue extractor and the salvage tool which aren't Specialist items. These get raw components (like nucleotides or metal) from corpses which is basically just useful to get some free credits.

Crafting is a way to make a good item a little better. You need to have crafting skills though, which depletes points available for combat skills. One or two levels of crafting skills is cheap enough, but many people create crafter clones which have the skills instead.

The components for crafting come only from disassembly of other weapons and armor. Say you need an Endoskeletal Solidifier for a +armor modification schematic for one of your armor pieces. You can only get this by disassembling an armor piece that already has a +armor mod (which destroys that armor piece), or you can buy one from the Surplus Market. Time-consuming and tricky work for very little reward, but it can be good if you want to wear the absolute best.
